I have been involved with camp fire for over two decades. As a member of their group program, I learned many leadership and outdoor skills. I attribute many of my professional qualities to the outstanding programs at Camp Fire.
In high school and college, I served on their National Youth Advisor Cabinet and the Central Puget Sound Council's Board of Directors.
After a brief hiatus to grow my professional career, I returned to the Central Puget Sound Board of Directors in 2013.
In 2016, I was elected to serve a 3-year term as the Board President.
BRIGHT NEW DAY
Founding Member & Volunteer Executive Director
I am a founding member and volunteer Executive Director of Bright New Day.
Bright New Day is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, committed to the individual and social change necessary to support women, who are or have been incarcerated, to live healthy and fulfilling lives.
We do this by connecting women to the resources they need to develop the life skills and social supports for futures as productive members of society.
As a founding member, I went through the process of gaining our 501c3 status. As the Executive Director, I continue to grow our mission and programs.
